Saturation point. Musical perception …

I really don’t know how objective my subjective pessimism is, but the ghost of a certain decline has stubbornly seemed to me for the past few years. Atrophy of musical perception? Decadence? Satiety? Perhaps the last. I recall one of Murphy’s laws: “The sum of the mind on the planet is a constant value, but the population is growing.” Paradoxical as it may seem, but perhaps from the general “Internetization” of the musical space, coupled with the increasing degree of accessibility of musical creation to the average layman, we no less lost than we won.

It’s bad when the Artist has no canvas and paints, they will tell me. Even worse, when every mediocrity has brushes and an easel, I object. As one of the laws of biology states, each population, which is an organic part of the Continue reading

Music and hypnotic state. Musical hypnosis

Hypnosis (Greek hypnos — dream) An altered state of consciousness characterized by a narrowing of its volume and presumably sharp focus on the content of the suggestion. Hypnosis occurs as a result of special effects of the hypnotist or targeted self-hypnosis. In a more general sense, hypnosis is a socio-medical concept of a complex of methods of targeted verbal-sound exposure to the human psyche through a mind braked in a certain way, leading to unconscious execution of various commands and reactions.

Hypnosis has been known to mankind for a long time, it was practiced by the priests of ancient Sumer. In Continue reading

Hugo Zucarelli and Holophony

Recent revolutionary discoveries of the Argentine-Italian researcher Hugo Zuccarelli have extended the holographic (holographic) model to the world of acoustics.

Hugo Zucarelli is the inventor of holophonic (holophonic) sound technology.

For reasons of patent secrecy, he still has not made public the information necessary to fully understand his important discovery. In the rest of the presentation, I use the materials of the lectures that I listened to and my own experience of listening to holophonic sound during a three-day seminar in Milbra, California, in which my wife Christina and I took part.

In childhood, unfortunately, Zukarelli survived the shock when he was nearly hit by a car. His ability to accurately localize the sound of an approaching car saved his life without seeing it. This aroused his interest in the problem of how various animals localize sound in their perception. After a thorough study and analysis of the mechanisms by which animals of various species achieve accurate identification of sound sources, he came to the conclusion that existing hearing models Continue reading
